Wu Hao's first peer-reviewed journal article was published online today in the journal Greenhouse Gases: Science & Technology. The article is titled "A parametric analysis of capillary pressure effects during geologic carbon sequestration in a sandstone reservoir." In this study, Wu Hao uses a numerical modeling approach to learn how variability in capillary pressure measurements affect model predictions of CO2 behavior in a sandstone reservoir. The take-home message is that gas phase entry-pressure is exerts the most significant control on the CO2-brine capillary system.
Congratulations on a terrific accomplishment Wu Hao! We're looking forward to see where your research goes next :-)
