Oklahoma Seismicity Workshop 2018
Computational Geofluids Director, Ryan M. Pollyea, attended the Oklahoma Seismicity Workshop 2018, which was sponsored by the Oklahoma Geological Survey. The Workshop in Norman, Oklahoma, comprised 2-days of presentations and panel discussions focusing on the science of fluid-triggered earthquakes. On Thursday, I took part in a panel with Jake Walter and Kyle Murray on the topic of regional and play-based analyses of brine management versus seismicity. My presentation updated our recent Geology paper to include analysis of SWD volume and earthquake occurrence through 2017. The presentation is linked here, and special thanks to Jake Walter for the invitation to attend.
