Field Work?!?

As a reprieve from the usual business of modeling stuff, I spent the day with Dr. Jim Spotila's tectonics & geomorphology group acquiring LiDAR scans of a local creek bed. The LiDAR data will help Ph.D. student, Kristin Chilton, learn about erosional processes here in the Appalachians. Big thanks to Carlos for helping out in the field.
